REVIEW – Angels in America Part Two: Perestroika. National Theatre (Lyttelton), London. April 2017.

The wait is over! Part two of our Angels in American review is here.

The piece is epic and we thought part one was a sensation. So did the concluding part live up to expectations?

There were angels, death, fights, ghosts, laughs and more. We even bumped into playwright Tony Kushner who agreed to sign our script.

With over 7 hours of performance time we certainly needed a lay down by the end.

REVIEW – Angels in America Part One: Millennium Approaches. National Theatre (Lyttelton), London. April 2017.

Whoa, what a cast. Andrew Garfield, Russell Tovey, Denise Gough, Nathan Lane.

Tony Kushner’s piece is an epic, and we mean EPIC, story of love, AIDS, city life, fate, religion and being gay in 1980s America.

We couldn’t wait to see this and have been counting down the days since we booked. Well, it’s finally here and you can see what we thought in our video review.

Part 2 – Perestroika, coming soon!
